My son (12u 138 lbs, 6’) has been swinging this since late December. Had a Catx Composite -5, sized up 1” - the DSB has a great feel, huge barrel. Absolutely rakes.

I purchased the ThumbPro for my son (11) especially for use indoor using alloy bats. I wasn't keen on the price, but He absolutely loved them. In fact, since we bought a two/pack he tried them on both hands while hitting, and it's completely eliminated any sting from contacting the ball off the end cap, or getting jammed. Nothing to gain, just honest feedback.

One piece aluminum alloy is the way to go. I've never liked two piece comp bats especially from marucci. The BBCOR marucci cat5² was my favorite (legal) bat all time!

Weigh bats as part of your testing - these things are usually not even close to list weights - chances are the DS 32 weighs 27 even though its 'drop 6'.

32 inch 26 ounces my 13 year old swings a 34-30.

I swung this bat unreleased and I commented about how good it is. The drop 10/8 is the second best bat of that type and they hadn’t made the drop 5 I don’t think, but I genuinely considered buying it because it’s also cheaper than it other brands, the sweet spot is a little crappy but it’s VERY hot

Purchased the Swag -6 this past Fall for my 12 year old. It’s a beast. The ball just flies off the barrel. They have a demo program where you can try it out for a couple of weeks before committing. Just have to pay shipping.

Why was drop five ever allowed at 12U? We're in GA and you could only hit drop 8 in 12U, my son hit 12 bombs with a Cat 9 connect. Drop five should be 13U only.
